1. What information do we hold about you and how is it collected?
If you have bought something from us, we will have your email address, address and phone number. If you choose to deliver items to a third party (such as a friend) we will have their name and address. Your credit card details are not held by us, but will be held on the SecureTrading (ST) secure server (see Transaction Security).
You may also, optionally, decide to receive our ‘Newsletter’ which may include Special Offers. You can opt out of this at any time either by sending us an email at email@example.com and type ‘UNSUBSCRIBE’ on the Subject line, or by clicking onto the ‘UNSUBSCRIBE’ Box in any email we send you.
2. What do we do with the personal information which we collect?
We use the information you have given us to:
1) process and deliver your order. This means that we may have to disclose some of your information to our suppliers (e.g. our Archive Newspaper suppliers or delivery suppliers) to help complete your order.

How do we protect your information?
In The Book takes precautions to protect its customers’ information. When you submit sensitive information via the Site, your information is protected both online and offline.
When our registration/order form asks you to enter sensitive information (such as your credit card number), that information is encrypted and is protected using encryption software.
Access to all of our users’ information is restricted. In The Book operates in a secured and locked facility that requires all employees to check in and wear valid ID badges. Security cameras are positioned throughout the building in conjunction with multiple alarm systems. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personal information. If you wish to have your financial information removed at the time of your order, you may opt to have your financial information deleted from our records upon completion of your order. For future transactions, you will be required to re-enter your information.

When you register for a In The Book account, you enter your email address. This email address is your In The Book ID and the email address that you use to log in to the Site. To change your email address and In The Book ID on In The Book, from our desktop website, please go to Account Settings. You cannot change your email address and In The Book ID from the In The Book mobile application or mobile website. Please note that you must have your email address/In The Book ID and password in order to access your account.
At the time of your order, you may choose to receive special offers and news by clicking the appropriate field.
If you currently receive special offers and news and wish to stop receiving special offers and news, In The Book provides several ways to do so. You may send emails to email@example.com with a request to be removed. Finally, you may use the link provided in all In The Book communications to automatically unsubscribe. Please note that you might still receive intermittent updates on products, services, specials or news.
If you currently receive push notifications and wish to stop receiving push notifications, you can deactivate these notifications at any time by changing the settings on your mobile device.
Uninstall Mobile Application
