Binding is weird but book is BEAUTIFUL! Buy it! :)
I agree with others that the binding makes you feel like it is easy to fall apart. I also agree with others about the pages being a bit frail. However, it's BEAUTIFUL! The binding is what it is, but the pages are from the newspaper so it gives it a better feel than an actual book. The book is much larger than I expected and although it is a bit cumbersome, it makes the content all the more exciting. It needs to be large so you can read the print. The book includes Kobe's early days, his retirement, the crash, and his legacy from the words of his close friends. It's beautiful. I'm actually disappointed that I have to give it away because I bought it as a Christmas gift for a friend. It will take them a long time to read through all of it and it is a pleasant walk down memory lane. I like this book option because I was going to get them a plaque but then they would be forced to look a Kobe everyday which may be rough. This is a nice gift for them to have when they have their friends over and want to reminisce about Kobe. Rest in Power, Mamba.

The most appalling customer service…
The most appalling customer service I've experienced with a company. I've written two reviews already with no resolution. They claim they have given me a discount but that offer is open to anyone making a second purchase. They charged me twice for the same product as I made an error when ordering but contacted them within minutes of realising my mistake. I followed up with a phone call the next day but was told I needed to pay over again. I thought that In the Book could at least meet me half way but no, I was very politely turned down.
Same stock answer every time!

Our Production Team are currently working 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to keep up with demand on orders. Once an order has been placed, and the customer has confirmed the personalisation, production may begin straightaway. The Customer Service Team are available Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm and unfortunately this means that we may not be able to amend personalisation. This would have been advised within your automated email you would have received, when sending an email to us.
Looking into your order, this seems to be the case, where your order had already been printed and we were not able to make the changes that you had wanted. As this is a customer error, we are not able to take on the cost to remake the book free of charge. We will however always offer a discount as a goodwill gesture, should the customer wish to place a new order with the correct information.

Great service, resolved a production defect with in hours
Cannot fault the service overall. They had to redo the book as there was a defect but customer service were so easy to contact and they resolved the issue in a few hours. Agree with some others, it would be nice to have a tracking code for Royal Mail but received an email telling me my book is on the way so I knew roughly to expect it in a few days. Overall can't fault the service.
