For us bookworms here at In The Book, we’re avid readers of classic fiction and non-fiction. From the writers who have shaped our outlook on the world to the narratives that stay with us even after the book is closed, old books are wealthy treasures, and the riches are endless.
With each new book, some believe we live thousands of lives through the characters whose stories unravel before us. Sure, this sounds corny and poetic but there’s a lot of truth tied to it. Oscar Wilde once said that “If one cannot enjoy reading a book over and over again, there is no use in reading it at all.” There is no magic quite like the way a book can make you feel. And if you can read the book again and take something away from it each time, that makes it a classic book. These are the kind of books we muse about in this section of our blog.
